Calvio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates calvio.io and provides AI-powered voice follow-up software for home service businesses in California and across the United States. Our registered business address is in California.

2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Contact information (name, business name, email address, phone number) when you book a demo or sign up
- Business information (type of trade, location, number of technicians, CRM platform in use)
- Communications you send us via email or our booking system
Information collected automatically:
- IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, time spent, and referring URLs (via standard web analytics)
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7)
Information from our AI voice calls (on behalf of our business customers):
- Voice recordings of AI-initiated follow-up calls placed to end customers on behalf of our business clients
- Call transcripts and NPS scores collected during those calls
- Sentiment analysis data derived from call content
All AI voice calls placed on behalf of our business clients disclose to the recipient that the call is an automated follow-up from the business. Calls are subject to applicable federal and California state telemarketing and recording consent laws.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Calvio platform
- To communicate with you about your account or our services
- To send you service-related notifications (never unsolicited marketing without consent)
- To analyze usage patterns and improve product features
- To comply with legal obligations under applicable federal and California law
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
4. Sharing Your Information
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: Trusted third parties who process data on our behalf (e.g., Twilio for telephony, cloud infrastructure providers). These parties are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.
- Business clients: Call transcripts and NPS data are shared with the home service business that contracted with Calvio to conduct the follow-up call.
- Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request.
- Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user information may be transferred as a business asset.
5. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to Know: You may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months.
- Right to Delete: You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. If this changes, we will provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA rights.

6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Call recordings and transcripts are retained for a maximum of 12 months unless a business client requests earlier deletion. Account data is retained for the duration of the customer relationship plus 3 years.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies required for site functionality and analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage, and access controls. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. We will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, as required by applicable law.
9. Children's Privacy
Calvio is a B2B platform intended for business owners and operators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. For significant changes, we will also send an email notification to active account holders.
